2025-2026 School Year: Welcome to 2nd Grade!

Hello and welcome back to school!

 

I'm Mrs. Menendez and this will be my 17th year at McKinley school. I'm excited that I will be teaching your child this year and to see their efforts and progress.  If your child is in my 2nd grade class for the 2025-2026 school year, please check his or her email for an invite to our Google Classroom.

 

As your child's 2nd grade teacher, I strive to make each day fun and enriching while the students acquire new skills that will enhance their learning. However, I will need your help in making this year a truly successful year! We will be a team that will be working together to help your child develop emotionally and academically. 

 

I will be using ClassDojo as our primary source of communication. Through this, you will receive any important updates from the school as well as what occurs in our classroom. You can also private message me with any concerns or questions you may have.
