🌟 Welcome to Ms. Weiss’s Resource Room! 🌟

Hi everyone! I’m Ms. Weiss, and I’m so happy to be working with students in many different grades this year. In the resource room, we focus on building skills, gaining confidence, and finding strategies that help each student shine. My goal is to make learning supportive, fun, and tailored to each child’s unique needs.

👩‍🏫 A Little About Me

  • I’ve been teaching for 25 years, and I love helping students grow at their own pace.

  • I work with students from kindergarten through 6th grade in reading, writing, math, and organization.

  • When I’m not at school, I enjoy working out, cooking and spending time with my son and our dog, Cam!

📚 What We’ll Be Doing in the Resource Room

  • Reading: Practicing strategies, fluency, and comprehension skills

  • Writing: Building sentences, paragraphs, and creative stories

  • Math: Strengthening number sense, problem-solving, and confidence with tricky concepts

  • Study Skills: Organization, planning, and tools for success in the classroom

🗓 How It Works

  • Students come to the resource room in small groups or one-on-one during the school day.

  • We work on personalized goals to support what’s happening in their classrooms.

  • I also collaborate closely with teachers and families so that students feel supported everywhere.
