Mini Golf & Sphero! Students in Ms. Morgana's 5th through 8th grade Tech Classes have worked hard on planning and constructing mini golf courses the last few weeks. These projects were made of mostly recycled materials! They were very excited to teach the adults how to control the Sphero Robots. We have enjoyed learning the Engineer Design Process and how to code our robots to successfully get a hole in one (well some of the time)!
Empowering Young Women At at McKinley we are always looking for new ways to foster community with our student body. Today the young ladies in 5-8 got to come down to the gym for some light refreshments and team building activities. We also would like to give a special thank you to Officer Marquez for speaking with our students about overcoming adversity and keeping your eyes on your goals!Thank you Mrs. Corbisiero for organizing such an inspiring event.
