Every Day Counts!
September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we want to remind our families that regular school attendance is one of the most important factors in student success.
When students attend school every day and arrive on time, they have more opportunities to learn, participate, build relationships, and stay on track academically. Even a few missed days can add up and make it harder for students to keep up with their classmates.
As parents and guardians, you play an important role in helping your child develop strong attendance habits. We encourage you to:
- Make school attendance a daily priority.
- Establish consistent morning and bedtime routines.
- Help your child arrive at school on time and prepared to learn.
- Schedule appointments outside of school hours whenever possible.
- Communicate with the school when your child is experiencing challenges that may affect attendance.
- Encourage your child to stay engaged and connected to school.
We understand that families may sometimes face circumstances that make regular attendance difficult. Please know that our school is here to support you. If your family needs assistance, reach out to the school so we can work together to find solutions.

¡Cada Día Cuenta!
Septiembre es el Mes de Concientización sobre la Asistencia. Queremos recordar a nuestras familias que la asistencia regular a la escuela es uno de los factores más importantes para el éxito de los estudiantes.
Cuando los estudiantes asisten a la escuela todos los días y llegan a tiempo, tienen más oportunidades de aprender, participar, desarrollar relaciones y mantenerse al día académicamente. Incluso unas pocas ausencias pueden acumularse y dificultar que los estudiantes sigan el ritmo de sus compañeros.
Como padres y tutores, ustedes desempeñan un papel importante en ayudar a sus hijos a desarrollar buenos hábitos de asistencia. Les recomendamos:
- Hacer de la asistencia escolar una prioridad diaria.
- Establecer rutinas constantes para la mañana y la hora de dormir.
- Ayudar a sus hijos a llegar a la escuela a tiempo y preparados para aprender.
- Programar citas fuera del horario escolar siempre que sea posible.
- Comunicarse con la escuela cuando su hijo tenga dificultades que puedan afectar su asistencia.
- Animar a su hijo a mantenerse comprometido y conectado con la escuela.
