Dear Parents,
It has come to my attention that on Friday June 19th the McKinley School Virtual Graduation was hacked by outside agitators. This style of hacking has been mentioned recently in the news media. It usually happens randomly and was not deliberately aimed at the McKinley 8th graders. I am writing this letter to inform you of the occurrence and also to offer an apology to the 8th grade students for having their ceremony interrupted and to the faculty and staff who worked so hard to make this a memorable moment. I want to also inform you that Vice Principal Wiley has notified all of the proper authorities about the event. In the future we hope to be better prepared for such incidents. If any parent or guardian has any further questions or concerns about the incident please call the Mckinley School office, (201-974-7020) Thank you for your attention in this matter.
